Four Pattern Families
Every Board a
Geometry Lesson.
Each pattern family starts with a different joinery technique. The result is a board that looks different from every angle, in every light.

Classic Herringbone
$285The signature Carve pattern — alternating walnut and maple end-grain tiles arranged in a 45° chevron. Each board is unique; no two grain patterns match.

Offset Brick
$245Warm cherry and pale maple in a running-bond brick pattern. The contrast is subtle in morning light, dramatic under pendants at dinner.

Diamond Mosaic
$340Three species. Forty-seven hand-cut diamond tiles. The padauk adds a third tone — a burnt amber that deepens with each oiling.

Radial Sunburst
$425Four species radiating from a maple center point. The most technically demanding board we make — 12 hours of joinery per board.

Why 12 hours per board?
End-grain requires 4 glue stages, 6 sanding grits from 80 to 400, and 3 oil applications with 4-hour dry times between each. There is no shortcut that doesn't show up later.

Boards That Get
Photographed First.
"I photograph food for a living. I've shot on $800 marble slabs, on reclaimed barn wood, on everything. Nothing photographs like the Diamond Mosaic. The grain catches light differently every time I move the board."

Diamond Mosaic · 20" × 14"
"We put it on our registry as a joke — 'who spends that on a cutting board?' — and it was the first gift claimed. Six months later it's the thing every guest touches and asks about. Worth every cent."
Theo & Priya Nakamura-Singh
Newlyweds, San Francisco
Classic Herringbone · 18" × 12"
"I sharpened my knives every two weeks on a glass board. I haven't touched my sharpener in four months since switching to end-grain. The board is also, objectively, stunning. My chef friends are jealous."

Home Chef, Chicago
